Short answer
Nationally, CareScout's 2025 median cost is $35 an hour for a non-medical home caregiver ($6,673 a month at 44 hours a week), $6,200 a month for assisted living, $2,058 a month for adult day health care, and $9,581 (semi-private) or $10,798 (private room) a month for a nursing home. Home care medians range from $24 an hour in Mississippi to $46 in Wyoming. CareScout doesn't report memory care or independent living separately.
